Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave his nod to grant an extension to the Chairman of Punjab State Minorities Commission Mr.Munawar Massih for another term of three years.Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that the file pertaining to this appointment was cleared by the Chief Minister this morning. As per the orders, Mr. Massih has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Commission w.e.f. January 22, 2014 to January 22, 2017.The formal orders regarding this appointment would be issued soon, added the spokesperson.
