Bharatiya Janata Party today said that the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is ‘panicked’ ahead of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Lalkaar rally’ scheduled for December 1 here.“The observations made by the Chief Minister about Modi’s rally to be held here on December 1 are only indications of ‘panic’ and ‘tension’ in the mind of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah because of Modi’s growing popularity in the state,” BJP Chief Spokesman and Member National Executive Committee Dr Jitendra Singh said.Abdullah, while addressing a public rally in city outskirts, had said that BJP will open old Pandora’s Box in December 1 rally besides asserting that PDP, BJP thrive on wedging apart society.Dr Jitendra Singh further said, “so far as Omar Abdullah's unsubstantiated charge that BJP is hand in glove with PDP, there is no evidence.”“But there is definite evidence that the National Conference was a part of the BJP led NDA with Omar Abdullah as a Union Minister and the same situation could be repeated when BJP is voted back to power,” he added.
