Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz today chaired a meeting of officers at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal to review the steps taken for preparedness of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls. It was given out in the meeting that ECI has scheduled Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with January 1st, 2016 as qualifying date. Various pre-revision activities like verification of existing Polling stations, Rationalization of Polling stations, workshops with political parties, door to door visit of BLOs for registration of new voters, preparation of detailed action plan for SVEEP etc were threadbare discussed in the meeting.Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the concerned officers to put all their efforts and accomplish the pre-revision activities within the stipulated time.Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, Sub Divisional Magistrate Kangan, Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, District Information Officer Ganderbal, Deputy Chief Education Officer Ganderbal and all Tehsildars of the district were present in the meeting.
