Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday urged the Indian-American business community to invest in his state in sectors like food processing, pharmaceuticals, information technology, automobile and defence production.Khattar, who is leading a 19-member delegation of officials and businessmen on a 10-day trip to the US and Canada, made the appeal for investment while participating in the India Independence Day Parade in New York.The chief minister promised a conducive investment climate with ease-of-doing business and speedy decision-making for investors.He said the new industrial policy recently announced by his government was pitching for small and medium enterprises and there was big scope to invest in these sectors.
