Another working lady was reportedly gang-raped inside an under- construction building at Uttara in the capital city Dhaka on Thursday night. One of her colleagues and two other miscreants raped her by turns till around 11pm since 9pm, brother- in-law of the victim said.Earlier, on June 10, a police woman was gang- raped at a residence in the Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka on June 10. Her former husband who is also a police man raped her along with others getting her captive there, told the woman.An indigenous girl was gang- raped in a running microbus in the capital on the night of May 21.
The brother-in-law of the latest gang-rape victim told journalists that the 17-year salesgirl was gang-raped by her colleague Arif and two other miscreants on way to her residence at Uttara in the capital Dhaka.‘The victim is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital,’ said Ali Hossain, officer in-charge, Uttara West Police Station.The OC told journalists that the girl did tell the police that she had been raped but sexual harassments.Four people were picked up by the law enforcement agency men in connection with the incident, the OC further said.
