Arrangements for organizing awareness-cum-motivation camp for intending IAS, IPS and IFS aspirants were today finalized in a high level meeting today chaired by District Development Commissioner, Anantnag Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone. The camp is being organized in collaboration with “Ascent” group of coaching group headed by Ex-Chairman Public Service Commission, Mohammad Shafi Pandit. The camp is aimed at motivating and brain storming of the recent pass out graduates for appearing in civil service examinations. The awareness camp will be conducted in an interactive cum motivation mode in which the recently qualified IAS and IFS personalities of the valley will be boosting the moral of the participants besides Dr. Shah Faisal first IAS topper of J&K. Besides IAS and IFS personalities a battery of recently qualified KAS officers will also be participating in the interactive session. The recently pass out graduates and candidates preparing for civil service examination nominated by six degree colleges of the district will be attending the camp besides others. The test for selection to free coaching sponsored by MHRD under minority quota will be followed after this camp.District Development Commissioner Anantnag directed all the concerned officers besides principals of degree colleges District Social Welfare Officer, Anantnag and Deputy Director of Employment to work with close co-ordination to make awareness camp a grand success. Besides concerned officers Principals of all Degree Colleges, DPO, Dy. Director Employment and District Social Welfare Officer Anantnag also attended the meeting.
