As part of the Digital India Week, an impressive function was organized by NIC Kupwara in the Meeting Hall of DC Office complex here.Live webcasting of the launch of the week by Prime Minister was shown to the participants. A PowerPoint presentation was presented by NIC highlighting various e-Services like Digital Locker, Jeevan Pramaan, National Scholarship Portal, e Health, online quiz etc.The participants were also given hands on demo sessions on the above services. District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, Mr. Kumar Rajeev Ranjan was the chief guest on the occasion who formally inaugurated the week in presence of various district level officers. Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officer, District Information Officer, District Informatics Officer and IT support staff of all line departments of district Kupwara were also present on the occasion.Earlier, special training programmes were organized by NIC Kupwara for the past two days for CSC operators and IT staff of line departments regarding preparations for Digital India Week and were also trained on the PMIS Mobile monitoring application through which the site incharge would be able to upload reports of the activities along with photographs and details of participants.Digital India Week is going to be held from July 01 to July 07 across the country and during the week various activities including awareness camps, competitions, debates, IT literacy camps etc will be held throughout district Kupwara.
