Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today organized a training course for youth as part of the Entrepreneurship Development Programmme (EDP).The participants were briefed about the benefits under Seeds Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS) and Youth Startup Loan Scheme (YSLS). The District Development Commissioner, Nisar Ahmed Wani was the chief guest on the occasion. The DDC interacted with the participants and encouraged them to take up entrepreneurship as their carrier. Wani urged the unemployed youth to come forward and avail benefits offered by various schemes run by JKEDI.Around 40 educated unemployed youth of district will be trained under this programme. They will be financed by JKEDI to start their business units in services, manufacturing, agriculture & allied sectors.DNO JKEDI, Raiyees Manzoor and Programme Manager, Imtiyaz Ahad were also present.
