Terming prompt service delivery as an instrument to ensure responsible governance, the Minister for CA&PD and Tribal Affairs Ch Zulfkar Ali said that Government shall ensure work culture and prompt public service delivery, where administration would be answerable for any delay. Minister stated this while chairing a follow up meeting to review the achievements in different sectors in Rajouri Minister took a detailed review of the performance of all the departments and asked the concerned to fix the targets within the available resource for execution of development works Taking strong notice of low student strength in as many as 68 schools, the Minister issued strict instructions to the CEO to immediately shift the students from these schools to the nearby schools so that services of teachers posted there could be utilized in those schools which lack adequate staff. He exhorted upon the officers to complete the process before the summer vacations.

While reviewing the health sector, the Minister instructed the CMO to immediately start the work on the District hospital Naushera and Sunderbani, prioritizing the works as per need and requirements of the people of the area. He asked them to ensure that funds released so far are utilized judiciously creating the much needed health care facilities in these institutions in a time bound manner.

The Minister, while reviewing the functioning of Rajouri Development Authority, emphasized on the officers to give special attention to virgin tourist spots along with the existing ones.Referring to the maintenance of the historic Fort, the Minister urged officers to make a comprehensive beautification plan for this ancient monument without disturbing its original glory.The Minister directed the PHE and PDD to ensure that people get adequate power and water supply especially in this hot season. He asked the PDD to prepare a proposal for transformers of different capacities to meet the requirement of the area besides instructing them to complete the metering in the district. He also asked for expediting the process of establishment of grid station in Kotranka.

While reviewing the working of CA&PD, the Minister was informed that about 1600 families have been left out during the 2011 census and in this regard he directed the Deputy Commissioner to take up matter with concerned authority for inclusion of these families.Expressing dismay over the delay in the execution of many vital developmental projects, Ch Zulfkar asked the administration to ensure expeditious land acquisition and award of compensation to the people.Meanwhile, the Minister also visited the residence of the deceased who recently died in a fatal road accident near Palma in Rajouri district.The Minister spent some time with the members of the bereaved family and expressed sympathies with them. He also prayed for peace to the departed soul.
