The Punjab BJP would once again give impetus to its ongoing membership campaign in the state by re-launching this drive from April 15. In this special drive, all wings of the party would once again put in power to achieve the target of making total 21 lacs members from the state.According to a press release issued from party headquarters, state BJP chief Kamal Sharma also said that on April 14 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Amebedkar, programmes would be held at block levels as a mark of respect for Dr. Ambedkar and his contribution in making the Indian constitution. The state BJP president disclosed this after conducting meeting of state office bearers, different party wings office bearers in Chandigarh today.Sharma disclosed that to achieve target of the membership campaign, the state BJP has chalked out a complete programme and as per this schedule from April 15-16 party would run this drive at booth level whereas on April 16- 18, youth wing workers would carry a special drive at bus stand and railway stations across the state. On same days, party’s Mahila Morcha members would also carry the membership outside religious places.On April 18-20, party’s industrial cell would make members in focal points and other industrial areas , on April 19-20, party’s Himachal wing and business community wing would organise special camps among their respective areas, on April 18-20 party’s intellectual wing, real estate wing would carry out the drive. From April 21-24, party’s Kisan Morcha, Arahitya Wing would carry special drive in vegetable and grain markets. On April 25, 26 education wing could carry out membership in different educational institutes and on April 25, 26 IT cell would launch the special drive.  Medical cell would carry out drive on April 25.In the meeting, state organization secretary Ajay Jamwal, memembership drive head, Vinod Sharma, National secretary Tarun Chugh, state general secretaries Rakesh Rathore, Jagtar Singh Saini and other state office bearers were also present.
