Retreating resolve of her party to aggressively pursue the pro-people agenda, president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti today said that PDP has become a uniform force to unite all the regions and sub-regions of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. She said that PDP has emerged as credible voice of the people of J&K.Addressing series of public meetings in Nagrota assembly segment in support of party candidate Hussain Ali Wafa, Ms Mufti said that the PDP had translated its promises into realities so people of the State have high hopes from our party. “We will come up to the expectation of the people”, she assured and added that unlike other parties PDP has never ignored peoples’ aspirations for power.
“PDP through its works has earned credibility of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the masses are looking towards PDP to get their aspirations addressed”, she observed and added that people have realized that only PDP has the vision and conviction to solve their problems. “By translating its promises into realities, PDP in a short span of time had earned faith and credibility of the people”, she said.PDP president said that the tenure of the PDP led regime was historic period in the political history of the State because that government had succeeded in involving people in the governance.
Responding to the demands of the local people, PDP president promised to formulate a comprehensive plan for the over-all development of Jammu region.“As far as Nagrota assembly segment is concerned, there is problem of water scarcity and road connectivity”, she pointed out and assured that a road map would be formed to solve these problems.Seeking support of people to change the present corrupt and inefficient system, she said that her party was seeking mandate of the people to set up a new system of justice and equality in J&K.
senior party leader Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh today addressed public meeting at Ragoora Sidhrah in Nagrota constituency.Claiming that party has got clear mandate of voters in the valley, party President said that in order to ensure success of the mission of making J&K model state, we need a majority government and hoped that the people of Jammu pision also will make this dream come true.
