On the occasion of the visit of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to Jalandhar (Punjab) on July 17, a special Swachh Bharat Campaign was organized today in the Kharar Urban Circle as part of the cleanliness drive being carried out across Punjab by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from BJP Punjab Treasurer Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, Mandal President Rakesh Gupta, and several party workers. Together, they cleaned public places and spread the message of cleanliness among the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy said that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has now become a mass movement. He emphasized that every citizen has a responsibility to play an active role in keeping their homes, neighborhoods, and cities clean.
He further said that party workers are highly enthusiastic about Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Punjab and are preparing to accord him a grand welcome. Among those present on the occasion were Dr. Sunil, Sunny Thakur, Surinder Kumar, Nikhil, Danish, Captain, and several other BJP office-bearers and workers.
