During the visit to the District Contact Centre (1950), the team reviewed the functioning of the 24×7 Voter Helpline and assessed the arrangements for addressing voter queries, guiding electors on the submission of Enumeration Forms (EFs), facilitating the “Book a Call Request with BLO” service and ensuring prompt grievance redressal.

The team also reviewed the functioning of the IT Help Desk for BLOs, where technical assistance is being provided for digitization and uploading of Enumeration Forms, resolution of technical issues and effective use of the ECINET platform. Officials briefed the team on the workflow, support mechanisms and measures adopted to ensure timely completion of SIR-related activities.

The ECI team further visited the SIR Help Desk for Electors established at the Office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (East), Chandigarh.
