The Shiromani Akali Dal received a significant boost when former Block Samiti Member and long-serving Sarpanch of Mehroli village, veteran Akali leader Manjit Singh Mehroli, announced his return to the party.On this occasion, Ravinder Singh Khera, a leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal, welcomed Manjit Singh Mehroli back into the party.
After rejoining, Mehroli stated that the Shiromani Akali Dal is the true regional party representing Punjab and Punjabi identity, and that he has always remained connected to its ideology.He assured party leaders that he would work with full dedication and commitment to strengthen the party in the coming days and would stand shoulder to shoulder with the Akali Dal in raising the issues of villages and common people.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Singh Khera said that the return of an experienced grassroots leader like Manjit Singh Mehroli would further strengthen the Shiromani Akali Dal. He added that a large number of people are rejoining the party after being impressed by its pro-people policies, which will make the party even stronger in the days ahead. Other party leaders and workers were also present on the occasion.
