MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, from the Central Assembly Constituency, today inaugurated the premix road construction work adjacent to Pannu Dairy on Ward No. 73, Jhabbal Road. MLA Dr. Gupta stated that development work is progressing rapidly in the Central Assembly Constituency. He stated that no development work will be left incomplete in the constituency. He interacts with the people daily to listen to their problems and find solutions.
MLA Dr. Gupta stated that there is no shortage of funds for any development project related to the Central Assembly Constituency. He thanked Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Incharge Manish Sisodia, and Chief Minister Bhagwat Singh Mann for this.
He added that work on the four-radial road leading to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib is underway in the Central Assembly Constituency. In addition, work to increase the capacity of the Khapadkhedi Sewage Treatment Plant is progressing rapidly. Sewerage desilting is also underway under the One City One Operator Project.
MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta stated that "Log Milani" (People Meet) is being held to raise awareness about the Punjab government's public welfare schemes. The benefits of these schemes are also being disseminated to the public. He added that the honorarium being provided to women under the "Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana" has received overwhelming support and positive feedback from women across Punjab.
He stated that this scheme is a historic initiative towards women's respect, empowerment, and economic security. Present on the occasion were Gurdas Singh, Kawal Pannu, Lakha DJ, Sandeep Singh, Sajan Kumar, Mintu Sandhu, Binda Pannu, and a large number of local residents.
