Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma on Saturday chaired the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee, where 10 out of 15 complaints were resolved on the spot. The remaining grievances were deferred to the next meeting.

The Minister directed the officers concerned to ensure their timely resolution. Deputy Commissioner, Mahender Pal assured that all  directions issued during the meeting would be implemented and that the pending complaints would also be addressed within the stipulated timeframe.

One of the complainants, Rohtash Gupta of Barwala, alleged that his property had been fraudulently transferred in the Municipal Council records to another person in connivance with municipal employees. SDM Barwala, Ashveer Nain informed the committee that the relevant documents had been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and the report is expected by July 15.

In the case relating to alleged irregularities in the Aaron Gold Sukh Project, the Superintendent of Police's office informed the committee that an FIR had already been registered. The Minister directed strict action in the matter and further directed that two members of the Grievances Committee be included in the inquiry committee.

On a complaint filed by Rekha of Tibba Danasher, Mill Gate, regarding possession of a flat allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Sector 24, officers apprised the Minister that the matter is pending at the headquarters level and is likely to be resolved shortly.

Avinash Bhatia of Global Space complained that Raj Darbar Buildcon Private Limited had failed to execute the registry of his plot despite receiving full payment. District Town Planner Dinesh informed the committee that the matter is pending before the RERA Court and is expected to be decided in August. 

The Minister directed the company promoters to appear before the Deputy Commissioner and instructed the DTP to initiate strict action against the developers for failing to provide the promised civic amenities to residents.

Regarding the demand for construction of a water channel (khal) by residents of Malapur and Ladvi villages, HADA officers apprised the Minister  that a fresh tender has been floated and the work will be completed within a month.

On a complaint by Sunil Kumar of Kalirawan alleging that a factory had polluted canal water, officers of the Pollution Control Board reported that a site inspection had been conducted and the complainant's concerns had been satisfactorily addressed.

Taking up the much-discussed Scholar Colony dispute, the Minister issued a warning to the Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar and directed them to submit a detailed report within 10 days.Residents of Jai Durga Colony, Budhakhera (Uklana), sought drinking water and sewerage facilities in their colony. 

The Minister directed  the officers  of the Public Health Engineering Department to provide the necessary infrastructure.In another case, Ram Prasad of Batla village complained that a company had acted arbitrarily after getting seeds produced on contract. Agriculture Department officials informed the committee that the company had resolved the issue.

A complainant also raised the issue of non-sanction of widow pension. The District Social Welfare Officer informed the committee that the applicant's Family Identity Card (PPP) details were incorrect. The Minister directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner's office to have the PPP corrected.

Vijay Kumar complained that his daughter had not been admitted under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. Education Department officials assured the committee that her admission would be completed as soon as the online portal reopens.

The Minister also directed that the entire fee deposited by complainant Chandrapal's daughter with a private coaching institute be refunded after the institute failed to honour its commitment.Residents of Mohammadpur village complained about contaminated drinking water due to non-replacement of filters at the village waterworks. 

The Minister directed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department to replace the filters immediately. He further directed officials to submit a comprehensive report at the next meeting on the installation and maintenance status of filters at all waterworks across the district.
