Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) under the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP), implemented by the Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) to provide financial and technical assistance for establishing enterprises in rural areas.

Of 51 applications received, the committee approved financial assistance of ₹1.85 crore for 25 applicants. The DC directed implementing agencies and banking institutions to ensure prompt processing and timely disbursement of sanctioned loans so that beneficiaries can establish their enterprises without delay.

Among those present were General Manager DIC Ramban Ravinder Anand, District Officer KVIB Ramban and Convener DLTFC Sudhir Singh, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head J&K Bank, Branch Manager J&K Bank, Superintendent ITI Ramban and officers concerned.
