Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar on Friday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, India has achieved historic milestones in economic growth, national security, self-reliance and cultural resurgence over the past 12 years. Addressing the media at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat on Friday, The Minister highlighted the key achievements of the Centre and its flagship welfare initiatives.

He said that when the Prime Minister assumed office in 2014, he had pledged to strengthen economic development, national security and cultural pride. Over the last 12 years, significant progress has been made in all these areas, the results of which are visible across the country today.

Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said that India was the world's 11th-largest economy in 2014 and has now emerged as the fourth-largest economy globally. He expressed confidence that the country is on track to become the third-largest economy in the near future, attributing the achievement to Prime Minister Modi's visionary leadership, robust economic policies and the support of the people.

500-Year-Old Aspiration Fulfilled

The Minister said the construction of the grand Lord Rama Temple in Ayodhya represents India's cultural consciousness and faith. He stated that the long-cherished aspiration of millions of devotees to see a grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Rama has been fulfilled under Prime Minister’s leadership, making Ayodhya a major centre of faith for devotees from across the world.

New Momentum to the Vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat

Highlighting developments in the defence sector, the Minister said India has made remarkable strides in national security and defence manufacturing. While the country was once heavily dependent on imports for its defence needs, initiatives such as Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat have enabled India to move towards self-reliance in defence production.

Defence exports from India are also growing steadily, further enhancing the country's global standing, he added.

Welfare Schemes Transforming Lives

Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said flagship schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission and Digital India have brought positive changes to the lives of millions of people. He said continuous efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society.

The Minister further said that the Centre and state governments are working together to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, expressing confidence that India will further strengthen its position among the world's leading nations in the coming years.

Kharkhoda MLA, Sh. Pawan Kharkhoda, senior BJP leader Sh. Pradeep Sangwan and several other dignitaries also remained present on this occasion.
