A special prayer and bhajan programme was organized at the historic Ram Mandir Purani Mandi in Jammu East Assembly constituency to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 4,399 days as the longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister of the country.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from BJP leaders, party workers, devotees and prominent citizens, who gathered to offer prayers for the continued progress and prosperity of the nation as well as the good health, long life and successful public service of the Prime Minister.

Addressing the gathering, Jammu East MLA Yudhvir Sethi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership over the past 12 years has transformed India into a stronger, more prosperous and globally respected nation. He stated that under Modi’s stewardship, the country has achieved remarkable progress in development, good governance, national security and international diplomacy.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated himself to the service of the nation with unwavering commitment and vision. His policies have ensured inclusive growth and improved the lives of millions of people across the country. Today, India stands tall on the global stage and is steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a developed nation,” Sethi said.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, the MLA referred to major strides in infrastructure development, digital transformation, welfare initiatives for the poor, women empowerment, youth development and efforts aimed at making India self-reliant.

He said the Prime Minister’s leadership has strengthened public confidence in governance and accelerated the pace of national development. A major attraction of the programme was the devotional performance by renowned singer Sonali Dogra, who captivated the gathering with soulful bhajans and devotional songs, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

Devotees actively participated in collective prayers, religious rituals and bhajan recitals, seeking divine blessings for the continued success of the nation and the Prime Minister’s mission of nation-building. A community langar was also organized on the occasion, with hundreds of devotees partaking in the meal.

Among those present was BJP J&K Vice President Priya Sethi, besides senior BJP leaders, party workers and local residents. The programme concluded with a pledge by participants to contribute towards the vision of a developed, prosperous and self-reliant India.
