The PCA New cricket stadium in New Chandigarh became witness to the felicitation of the young cricketing heroes of Punjab by the PCA Honorary Secretary Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. The felicitation ceremony held in the presence of Parents of Shubman Gill and Gurnoor Brar.
The One day and Test cricket Skipper of Indian team Shubhman Gill and newly selected Member of the Team India Gurnoor Brar were honoured by Meet Hayer who applauded the wonderful ton scored by the Indian Captain on the first day of the one off Test match Afghanistan.
Meet Hayer also wished all the best to Gurnoor Brar and said he sincerely hopes to see the youngster making his mark on the cricketing field. Earlier, another feather in PCA's journey was added as Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer rang the traditional bell to set the inaugural test match (India Vs Afghanistan) rolling and commissioned the stadium as a BCCI test venue. It must be pointed out that New Chandigarh is 3rd Test venue in Punjab and 31st in India.
