During the press conference, it was informed that the Draft Electoral Roll will be published on 21.07.2026 under the Special Intensive Revision programme.

It was further informed that the current mapping of electors in Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency has reached 72.29%. As per the approved schedule of SIR-2026, House-to-House visits by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be conducted from 15.06.2026 (Monday) to 14.07.2026 (Tuesday) for verification and collection of Enumeration Forms from existing electors.

It was further informed that the BLO shall collect one copy of the Enumeration Form and provide acknowledgement by signing the second copy, which should be retained by the elector for record purposes. Enumeration Forms may also be submitted along with supporting documents, wherever required.

The public was also informed that if any eligible elector is left out from the electoral roll, he/she may apply through Form No. 6 for fresh enrolment during the Claims & Objections period from 21.07.2026 (Tuesday) to 20.08.2026 (Thursday). Similarly, electors requiring any correction in their particulars may submit Form No. 8 during the same period.
