Reaffirming the Punjab Government's commitment to transparent, accountable and citizen-centric governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister Sukhveer Singh today held a public grievance redressal programme at the Chief Minister Facilitation Centre, Dhuri, where he interacted with citizens, heard their grievances and directed the concerned officials to ensure their prompt disposal on a priority basis.
Addressing the gathering, OSD Sukhveer Singh said that the Punjab Government, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, accords the highest priority to the timely, transparent and effective resolution of public grievances. He said the Government is making sustained efforts to ensure that government services and the benefits of various welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen in an efficient and hassle-free manner.
He said that such public interaction programmes provide an effective platform for understanding people's concerns firsthand and ensuring their expeditious redressal through the concerned departments. He reiterated that every genuine grievance would be addressed within the stipulated timeframe and that no deserving citizen would be made to undergo unnecessary hardship in accessing government services.
