Rich tributes were paid to the nation’s great martyrs—Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru and Shaheed Sukhdev—on their martyrdom day at the Chief Minister Facilitation Centre, Dhuri. On the occasion, AAP leaders and residents offered floral homage and solemnly resolved to walk the path shown by the martyrs.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, said that the martyrs laid down their lives to secure the country’s freedom and laid the foundation of a just and progressive society. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government has undertaken several transformative and people-centric initiatives over the past four years to realise the vision of the martyrs, adding that these efforts will continue with renewed commitment.

Chairman of Market Committee Dhuri, Rajwant Singh Ghulli, said that the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev continues to inspire generations to stand firmly against injustice, oppression and tyranny. He emphasised that the day calls for a renewed pledge to uphold the values of justice, equality and brotherhood by following the path shown by the martyrs. AAP leaders also called upon the public to come forward and actively contribute towards fulfilling the dreams of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and strengthening the nation’s progress.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Chairman, Gau Sewa Commission, Ashok Kumar Lakkha; Director, Small Industries, Anil Mittal; Chairman, Block Samiti Dhuri, Ranyodh Singh; Zila Parishad Member Harjinder Singh Kanjla; along with Rachhpal Singh Bhullar, Naresh Singla, Satnam Singh, Satinder Singh Chatha, Darshan Singh Pathak, Pushpinder Sharma, Veerbhan, Sukhpal Singh, Ajaib Singh, Navjot Kaur and several other dignitaries, party leaders and local residents.
