Anee’s School Kharar celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with great enthusiasm, honouring the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride. The theme for this year’s celebration was "Mera Bharat – Mera Garv", highlighting the strength and unity that define India.

The day began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the Honourable Chairman Sir, along with the Principal of the school. The fluttering tricolour filled the air with pride, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters.

The cultural programme commenced with a warm welcome by the student anchors, setting a patriotic tone for the day. The event featured a series of performances paying tribute to India’s heritage and the struggle for independence.

The opening act was a soulful patriotic dance, followed by a melodious choir performance that stirred emotions and evoked national pride.Students Wahenoor, Aadil Yadav, Akshita Bhavra, Devanshi Sharma, and Jashith delivered inspiring speeches on "The India of My Dreams", envisioning a brighter, more responsible, and united nation.

A thought-provoking street play depicted the struggles of the freedom movement and the challenges faced after independence. An engaging patriotic quiz tested students’ knowledge about India’s history, national symbols, and leaders.

The audience was also treated to a colourful folk dance medley and a series of heartfelt poems in Hindi and English. Speeches in Hindi by young orators Aarna, Aarohi, Sanvi, Astik, and Vidit reminded everyone that freedom is a responsibility that must be honoured every day.

The programme concluded with a motivating address by the Honourable Chairman Sh. Aneet Goel, who urged students to commit themselves to building a cleaner, stronger, and united India. The event closed with the National Anthem, as the entire school stood together, hearts swelling with pride for the nation.

The day served as a reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the collective responsibility of every citizen to preserve the nation’s independence and dignity.
