Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain today morning paid a surprise visit to the Community Health Center in Kurali and reviewed the health services being provided to the people. Dr. Jain, while visiting various wards of the hospital, took note of the lack of cleanliness in some places and instructed the senior medical officer to make necessary arrangements to keep the hospital clean and remove any other deficiencies.

She said that she is also making efforts for the betterment of the hospital at her own level. Dr. Jain said that the Health Department is committed to providing a clean environment to the patients and other people visiting government health institutions.

A clean environment in any hospital is important for the recovery of the patient. Dr. Jain also inspected the availability of essential medicines and medical equipment. She instructed the health officials that every necessary medicine prescribed by the doctor must be available within the hospital itself.

Senior Medical Officer of the hospital Dr. Amit Kumar assured the Civil Surgeon that he would make necessary arrangements for the betterment of the institution to provide effective and quality facilities to the people. Dr. Davinder Gupta and Dr. Sahil Kalia were also present on the occasion.
