Government Bikram College of Commerce Patiala organized its convocation for the session 2022-23under the guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata. The esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Sh.ShowkatAhmad Parray , IAS graced the event as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with the arrival of the Academic procession in the hall, where the program started with Playing the College Dhuni followed by lighting of the lamp.
Dr. Vaneeta Rani welcomed the Chief Guest and the otherdignitaries present on the occasion. The College Principal presented the college report highlighting the activities and achievements of the college students throughout the year. 284 students received degrees from the chief guest who wished them all the best for their life aheadand emphasized skills, ability and a positive outlook in life.
He mentioned about what important milestone convocation is in one’s life and urged the graduates to be grateful to everyone who helped them and guided them throughout the college years. He shared his own experiences of the time when he had finished his graduation and advised students to make themselves capable of facing the world. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Ram Kumar, Coordinator of the event followed by National Anthem.

ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2022-23 ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. (ਡਾ.) ਕੁਸੁਮ ਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ਼ੌਕਤ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਪਰੇ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। 284 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਗਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ਼ੌਕਤ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਪਰੇ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁੱਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਨਰ, ਯੋਗਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗ੍ਰੇਜੂਏਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਸ਼ੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਗਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਧੁਨੀ ਵਜਾਈ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸ਼ਮ੍ਹਾ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਵਨੀਤਾ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਰ ਪਤਵੰਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਾਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਮਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਡਾ.ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ), ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਓਪਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ.ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਬੱਤਰਾ, ਡਾ.ਨੀਲਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਰਿਟਾ. ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ), ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਰੁਣ ਬਾਂਸਲ (ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀ) ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਐਲੂਮਨੀ (ਗਲੋਬਲ) ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਸੀ.ਏ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗੋਇਲ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਬਾਂਸਲ, ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਉਮੇਸ਼ ਘਈ ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਏ. ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਐਡ. ਸ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਸੇਠ, ਐਚ.ਈ.ਆਈ.ਐਸ. ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਬਾਡੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੀ.ਪੀ. ਧੀਮਾਨ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਇੰਦੂ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ।
