Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, during his visit to Kangra district today, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 33 development projects amounting to Rs. 784 crore in Dehra and Nagrota Bagwan assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stones of 3 projects worth Rs. 356.02 crore in Dehra Assembly constituency, which includes the Zoological Park, the dream project of the Chief Minister, to be built at a cost of Rs. 350 crore in Bankhandi near Dehra.
He laid the foundation stone of two roads worth Rs. 6.02 crore in Dehra viz: Nehran Pukhhar to Bada via Bhrun and Chintpurni to Barwada. The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 30 development projects worth Rs. 427 crore for Nagrota Bagwan and Palampur assembly constituencies at Gandhi Maidan in Nagrota Bagwan.
He inaugurated a library and a computer center of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College, Nagrota Bagwan, constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.50 crore. Apart from this, he inaugurated the student hostel of Government Pharma College with inmate capacity of 100 children constructed with an outlay of Rs. 3.80 crore and inaugurated G.S. Bali Mother-Child Hospital at Tanda, with 200 bed capacity, completed with a cost of Rs. 41.47 crore.
He also inaugurated Rs. 6.80 crore, 33 KV sub-station at Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan and the JE office and complaint cell of the Electricity Board constructed at a cost of Rs. 22.56 lakh. Apart from this, he dedicated Lift Drinking Water Scheme Ghina-Morath-Jasai and up-gradation of Balugloa WSS completed at a cost of Rs. 2.67 crore. He also dedicated domestic drinking water connections project worth Rs. 6.44 crore for in Baroh area of Changar belt of the Nagrota Bagwan constituency.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the span bridge over Baner Khad for Jasore village built at a cost of Rs. 3.50 crore, the science laboratory at Government Senior Secondary School, Balugloa built at a cost of Rs. 1.10 crore and an additional building of Government Senior Secondary School Nagrota Bagwan constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.54 crore. He also inaugurated the convenience block cum canteen built at a cost of Rs. 2.95 crore at Medical College, Tanda.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of beautification projects worth about Rs. 52 crore each, for Nagrota Bagwan and Palampur town. He laid foundation stone of wellness cum convention centre and wedding destination to cost Rs. 90 crore. He also laid foundation stone of Rs. 40 crore water fountain matching International standards.He also laid the foundation stone of Rs. 8.51 crore bee-keeping center at Nagrota Bagwan and Rs. 1.90 crore on the construction of the buildings of the division and sub-division of the Electricity Board.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Dhanul-Kashatwadi Irrigation scheme worth Rs. 2.74 crore, Kathul Kuhal Project worth Rs. 3.62 crore and foundation stone of Water Source Improvement Project at Matiyadi worth Rs. 1.23 crore.
He laid the foundation stone of upgradation of Deharian-Kandi-Gharana road to cost Rs. 8.46 crore and Thandapani-Jagni-Khabbal-kholi Kharat road to cost Rs. 5.04 crore and Nagrota Baldhar-Siun-Paddhar road to cost Rs. 9.64 crore. He also laid the foundation stone of Rs. 5 crore Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School at Ranhu in Nagrota Bagwan.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Toru-Wah-Chaprehad road to cost Rs. 7.52 crore, foundation stone of the lecture theater complex to be built at Tanda Medical College and to cost Rs. 14.14 crore and the parking complex and community center to be built at Nagrota Bagwan at a cost of Rs. 27.44 crore. He laid the foundation stone of the indoor sports complex to be built at a cost of Rs. 4.75 crore at Hatwas in Nagrota Bagwan.

मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने बुधवार को कांगड़ा जिले के अपने दौरे में देहरा और नगरोटा बगवां विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 784 करोड़ रुपये की 33 विकास परियोजनाओं के उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किए। मुख्यमंत्री ने देहरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 356.02 करोड़ रुपये की 3 परियोजनाओं की आधारशिलाएं रखीं। उन्होंने देहरा के वनखंडी में 350 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाले वन्य प्राणी उद्यान की आधारशिला रखी।
उन्होंने देहरा विस में 6.02 करोड़ रुपये की दो सड़कों नैहरन पुखर से बाड़ा वाया भरूण तथा चिंतपुरनी से बरवाड़ा के कार्य का शिलान्यास किया।इसके उपरांत मुख्यमंत्री ने नगरोटा बगवां के गांधी मैदान में नगरोटा बगवां तथा पालमपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए 427 करोड़ रुपये की 30 विकास परियोजनाओं के उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किए।
उन्होंने राजीव गांधी राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज नगरोटा बगवां के 6.50 करोड़ रुपये से निर्मित पुस्तकालय तथा कंप्यूटर सेंटर का उदघाटन किया। इसके अलावा उन्होंने 3.80 करोड़ रुपये की लागत के राजकीय फार्मा कॉलेज में बने 100 बच्चों की क्षमता के छात्र छात्रावास का लोकार्पण तथा 41.47 करोड़ रुपये से बने 200 बिस्तरों के श्री जी.एस. बाली मातृ शिशु अस्पताल टांडा का उद्घाटन किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने राजीव गांधी इजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में 6.80 करोड़ रुपये से बने 33 केवी सब स्टेशन का लोकार्पण भी किया। उन्होंने 22.56 लाख रुपये से बने विद्युत बोर्ड के जेई कार्यालय एवं शिकायत कक्ष का लोकार्पण किया। इसके अतिरिक्त 2.67 करोड़ रुपये से जल शक्ति विभाग की उठाऊ पेयजल योजना घीणा-मोरठ-जसाई व बालूग्लोआ के स्तरोन्नयन कार्य तथा चंगर क्षेत्र बड़ोह में घरेलू पेयजल कनेक्शन मुहैया कराने की 6.44 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजना का लोकार्पण किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बनेर खड्ड पर जसोर गांव के लिए 3.50 करोड़ रुपये से बने स्पैन ब्रिज का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला बालूग्लोआ में 1.10 करोड़ रुपये से निर्मित विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला और राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक छात्र पाठशाला नगरोटा बगवां में 1.54 करोड़ रुपये से बने अतिरिक्त भवन का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने मेडिकल कॉलेज टांडा में 2.95 करोड़ रुपये से बने सुविधा खंड कम कैंटीन का लोकार्पण भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने नगरोटा बगवां व पालमपुर शहर के लिए करीब 52-52 करोड़ रुपये की सौंदर्यीकरण परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास किया। उन्होंने नगरोटा बगवां के लिए 130 करोड़ रुपये की वेलनेस कम कनवेंशन सेंटर एवं का वेडिंग डेस्टीनेशन तथा इंटरनेशनल फाउंटेंन परियोजना शिलान्यास किया। इसमें 90 करोड़ रुपये वेलनेस कम कनवेंशन सेंटर तथा वेडिंग डेस्टीनेशन पर और 40 करोड़ रुपये इंटरनेशनल फाउंटेंन के निर्माण पर व्यय होंगे।
उन्होंने नगरोटा बगवां स्थित मधुमक्खी पालन केेंद्र के विकास की 8.51 करोड रुपये की परियोजना और 1.90 करोड़ रुपये लागत से बनने वाले विद्युत बोर्ड के डिविजन एवं सब डिविजन के भवन की आधारशिला रखी।मुख्यमंत्री ने 2.74 करोड़ रुपये की धनूल-काशतवाड़ी सिंचाई परियोजना, 3.62 करोड़ रुपये की कठूल कुहल परियोजना और 1.23 करोड़ रुपये की मटयाड़ी में जल स्रोत सुधार कार्य परियोजना का शिलान्यास किया।
उन्होंने 8.46 करोड़ रुपये के देहरियां कंडी घराणा सड़क स्तरोन्ययन कार्य तथा 7.24 करोड़ रुपये के ठंडा पानी, जगनी से खब्बलखोली खरट सड़क, 5.04 करोड रुपये से कंडी से सरूट सड़क तथ 9.64 करोड़ रुपये के नगरोटा बलधर सियूण पधर सड़क के स्तरोन्नयन कार्य का शिलान्यास किया। उन्होंने नगरोटा बगवां के रनहू में 5 करोड़ रुपये से बनने वाले राजीव गांधी मॉडल डे बोर्डिंग स्कूल का शिलान्यास किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने 7.52 करोड़ रुपये से बनने वाली टोरू-वाह-चपरेहड़ सड़क का शिलान्यास किया। उन्होंने 14.14 करोड़ रुपये से टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज में बनने वाले लेक्चर थियेटर परिसर और 27.44 करोड़ रुपये से नगरोटा बगवां में बनने वाले पार्किंग परिसर एवं सामुदायिक केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी। उन्होंने नगरोटा बगवां के हटवास में 4.75 करोड़ रुपये से बनने वाले इंडोर खेल परिसर का शिलान्यास किया।
