Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Labour, Hospitality and Investment Promotion Departments Minister Anmol Gagan Mann reached out to the camps 'AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar' held at Hasanpur and Broli villages today and lent patient hearing to the difficulties being faced by the people.

She directed the officials to dispose of the basic problems of both the villages like disposal of liquid waste, availability of drinking water and carpeting of Phirni road timely. She said that the effort of the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to resolve the grievances of the common people by setting up camps in the villages and ending the problems of the common people is proving benevolent for the common people.

She said that in these camps, the Revenue Department, Rural Development and Panchayat Department, Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Department, Police Department, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Health Department, Department of Governance Reforms, Saanjh Kendra, Labour Department, Powercom etc. provide 43 services on the spot.

She said that the people whose smart ration cards have been restored by the Punjab government should also apply to the officials of the Food and Supply Department present in these camps to get the benefit of the government's door-to-door free ration scheme. She said that till now free ration has been provided to the 5000 households under this scheme in Kharar Constituency.

Minister Anmol Gagan Mann said that the purpose of these camps is to provide basic needs to the common people, to resolve their problems related to government offices on the spot, and to issue grants for the common problems faced by the villages. She said that these camps are being conducted in all 170 villages of the Kharar assembly constituency.

She assured the Hassanpur residents to address the issue of liquid waste drainage, drinking water, sports stadium and gym raised by the people and youth of Hasanpur by issuing grants within the next month. She also assured that the demand for opening Aam Aadmi Clinic in the village and upgrading the primary school would be met at the earliest possible.

She announced to accept the demands of upgrading the school at Broli, the drainage system of the school and the installation of tubewell in the village in the coming days. She asked the officials to prepare proposals regarding these demands and send them for approval by the state government.

She strongly appealed to the people doing labour related to the construction works to get registered with the Labour Department during these camps. She said that the Labour Department has funds worth 1200 crores for the welfare of construction workers to provide free medical treatment, the Shagun scheme and other benefits to the registered workers.
