In Cognizance of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme rolled out by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar departed the fourteenth Bus of pilgrims to Sri Amritsar today. 

Giving more details, Sub Divisional Magistrate Kharar, Gurmandar Singh said that the 43 pilgrims who have left for the Pilgrimage of the religious circuit Amritsar-Sri Anandpur Sahib would pay obeisance to the historical Gurdwara Sahiban at Amritsar and Anandpur Sahib during the two-day long pilgrimage. 

He said that the pilgrims also handed over kits comprising Blankets, Bedsheets, Pillows besides toiletry Kits. He further said that S. Jodha Singh Mann father of Tourism Minister and MLA Kaharar Constituency was also present on the occasion. The bus was flagged off from Teor Village of Kharar Constituency. 

He said that as per the demand of the residents, more buses are in the queue in the coming days to get them to their respective religious places. The people from the area who joined the pilgrimage expressed gratitude to the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for making available opportunities for them to visit the religious places by facilitating them with free boarding and lodging.
