Educational institutions and Government Departments on Friday witnessed enthusiastic celebration of the 75th Republic Day across Jammu Division. Sheep Husbandry Department: Republic Day was celebrated at Sheep Husbandry Complex, Jammu. Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary unfurled the National Flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem. 

Health Services Directorate Jammu: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated in Directorate of Health Services Jammu with patriotic fervour. Director Health Services Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma unfurled the Tricolour in presence of all officers and officials of the Directorate, followed by singing of the National Anthem.

DHS Jammu congratulated them on the occasion of Republic Day and said the day has great significance as India became a sovereign democratic and republic on this day. Republic Day was also celebrated in Health institutions of all Districts of Jammu Division with active participation of respective CMOs/MS/BMOs along with staff.

District Court Kathua: Republic Day was celebrated in District Court Complex (Headquarter) Kathua today with full zeal & enthusiasm. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Ashok Kumar Shavan, Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua (also Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kathua) which was followed by reciting of the National Anthem by the gathering.

Besides, a cultural program was organised by District Legal Services Authority Kathua in-collaboration with the Department of Education, Palash and Prasha Kathua. At the end of the program, participants were felicitated with prizes by the Chairman District Legal Services Authority.

The program was attended by  Surinder Kumar Thapa, Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua,  Cheena Sumbria, Munsiff JMIC Kathua and Neena Thakur, District Mobile Magistrate Kathua, Prosecuting Officers of District Court Complex Kathua, President, Senior and Young members of the Bar Association Kathua, staff members of both District Court Kathua and District Legal Services Authority Kathua, Police personnel & Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Kathua.

District Court Doda: District Court Doda celebrated the 75th Republic Day with fervor and enthusiasm. The event unfolded with a grand flag unfurling ceremony, attended by staff members and legal fraternity professionals.

District Session Judge, Sudesha Sharma, alongside other senior officials, graced the occasion with their presence. Inspiring speeches were delivered, underscoring the significance of the day and the paramount importance of upholding the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. 

The celebrations were heightened by a disciplined and dedicated parade by security personnel, symbolizing their commitment to serving the nation.The event not only commemorated the Republic Day but also served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. 

It emphasized the collective responsibility of every citizen in contributing towards the progress and unity of the nation. The District Court Complex's celebration encapsulated the spirit of patriotism and dedication to the principles that define the Indian Republic.

District Court (Headquarter) Reasi: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated in District Court Complex (Headquarter) Reasi today with full Zeal & enthusiasm.The event commenced with the unfurling of the National flag by Sonia Gupta, Principal District & Sessions Judge Reasi ( also Chairman District Legal Services Authority  Reasi) which was followed by recitingof the National Anthem by the gathering.

This program/event was attended by Archana Charak, CJM Reasi, Sunil Kumar, Secretary DLSA, Samba, Arti Devi, Munsiff JMIC Reasi, Lakshya Badyal, Munsiff Katra, Prosecuting Officers of District Court Complex Reasi, President, Senior and Young members of the Bar Association Reasi, Staff Members of both District Court Reasi and District Legal Services Authority Reasi, Police Personnel and Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Reasi.

District Jail, Jammu: The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated in presence of Jail Staff, CRPF Personnel and Jail Inmates in District Jail Jammu. Celebration started by unfurling of the National Flag by Superintendent Jail, Harish Kotwal followed by singing of the National Anthem.

The Superintendent Jail addressed the gathering and  highlighted the significance of the Day. A pledge was taken by all the participants to contribute towards nation building religiously. The Jail Inmates and Jail Staff also presented a colourful cultural programme. 

GDC Ramgarh: Cultural and Fine Arts Club of Government Degree College, Ramgarh celebrated Republic Day on 26th January 2024 in the college with great fervour and enthusiasm. A  series of events and activities were held to commemorate this significant day in Indian history. The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony to honour the Indian tricolour and pay tribute to the founding principles of the Indian Republic. 

The recitation of the National Anthem by the students and staff of the college was followed by a cultural  program featuring patriotic songs, group dance, speeches and an address emphasising the importance of democracy and rich cultural heritage, diversity and unity of India.

Government Degree College Vijaypur: Government Degree College, Vijaypur celebrated Republic Day with great fervor and enthusiasm in the College premises. The event started with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal of the college. It was followed by the National Anthem.

The Students of the College presented a cultural bonanza featuring songs, dances and speeches. Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the college briefed the staff and students that being a republic means being a nation with equality among its citizens.
