In line of initiatives and avenues opened for creating jobs in the government sector by Chief Minister, Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Maan, today, MLA Mohali S.  Kulwant Singh disbursed appointment letters to newly appointed 07 Aganwadi workers and Anganwadi helpers hired by Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development, Punjab.

After distributing the appointment letters at his Mohali office, he said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government of Punjab is conducting a recruitment drive in the state in a purely merit-based and transparent manner, with which only competent, deserving and needy candidates are being given jobs.

He said that so far more than 38000 youths have been given appointment letters in various government departments by the Chief Minister Punjab, which is the biggest achievement of any government in its initial tenure for the first time.

MLA  Kulwant Singh congratulated the newly appointed Anganwari helpers and Anganwari workers and urged them to work with utmost honesty and diligence to ensure the benefit of the public welfare schemes to reach the needy and eligible beneficiaries.

On this occasion, Gagandeep Singh, District Program Officer, SAS  Nagar, Mrs. Gursimran Kaur CDPO Block Kharar-2 and all the block supervisors were present.
