Srishti Chauhan and Aniket Chauhan, the seventh class students of Government Senior Secondary School Saino Deedag of Rajgarh in district Sirmaur contributed Rs. 3,817 and Rs. 1,004 respectively towards Aapda Rahat Kosh and gave  their 'Gullaks' (piggy banks) to Education Minister Rohit Thakur, who handed over the same to  Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today.

Appreciating the gesture of these small children, the Chief Minister said that it was a matter of delight that tiny children were coming forward to donate generously to extend a helping hand to the disaster affected people and could feel their sufferings.  He said that every contribution was valuable irrespective of the size of the donation. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and MLA Ashish Sharma were also present on the occasion.
