Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann’s initiative to provide a conducive environment for the industry and investors in the state has started to yielding results as US based Company, MAXVAL Technology has established its smartest green project building, said New and Renewable Energy Sources Minister Mr Aman Arora, while inaugurating the project here on Wednesday.

"The company has set a new example for others by launching its smartest green project building here, which initially has generated an employment opportunity for 200 youth," he said. He said that as the Mohali is being developed as a showcase window of the state by the Punjab Government and many investors are expressing huge interest to set up their projects here. 

He said that MAXVAL , being a leading player in the real estate, technology and engineering services sector, has its project offices at Belapur (Navi Mumbai), Hyderabad and Kochi. He expressed hope that the environment-friendly design of the Mohali Venture would inspire many others too to promote green and clean energy. 

He added that the arrival of projects like Maxval Tech Centre would provide employment opportunities to a number of capable Punjab youth who have capacity and calibre to excel in various fields. The Cabinet Minister said that the Department of New and Renewable Energy Sources are going to set up India’s first Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) compliance building at Mohali shortly. 

Similarly, all the government offices would also be equipped with solar roof panels to conserve energy. Terming Green Hydrogen policy as the next level environment friendly initiative, Mr Aman Arora said, "We are in going to finalise Green Hydrogen Policy for the state shortly that would reduce the consumption of conventional fuels including Petrol and Diesel, besides overcoming the problem of Stubble Burning.

Asserting that CM Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government’s efforts for promoting state as the frontrunner in investment, tourism and other areas, Mr Aman Arora said that the whole state is undergoing huge change in infrastructure, IT Sector and unprecedented industrial growth. He said that Mohali has showcased a huge potential in real estate and IT sector.

Local MLA Kulwant Singh assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, no stone would be left unturned to make Mohali as the city of dreams. Maxval Tech Centre, MD, Balbir Singh Khera while throwing light on the project, said that the project was the big dream of his late father Col.

Daya Singh Khera, who headed many educational institutions including PPS Nabha and was instrumental in providing educational opportunities to girls.He said that as the groundbreaking ceremony was held by his late father so he dedicated the building to his father on his anniversary and his late mother Sukdev Kaur. 

He along with his younger brother Haprinder Khaira would open job avenues for about 1000 youth in the field of Building Automation Products and Solutions, Green Building Certification Services, Civil Engineering Services, Sales, Marketing and Channel Enablement Software and Real Estate Marketing, and Lease Services by connecting them with this venture.
