It was apprised to the house that out of 171 Rural Electrification works undertaken in the District, 169 stands completed while the remaining two works are still going on. The Committee also stressed on the coordination of electrical department with various departments especially with forest and revenue department to ensure timely clearance of the projects undertaken under RGGVY.Further the Committee asked the department concerned to complete the tendering process before application of Model Code of Conduct so that works could be carried out even during the period of Assembly Elections. The Committee was in consensus over prioritizing the villages to be covered under RGGVY Phase 2nd, selecting those deserving villages first, after proper verification, which are not covered under RGGVY scheme till date.Later the Committee also reviewed the District Plan Performance 2013-14, of various centrally sponsored schemes, State sponsored schemes, NABARD projects, CRF etc.
