The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review progress made on Draft Master Plan for Municipal Council Kulgam at mini-secretariat, here.During the meeting, Divisional Town Planner briefed the chair about the progress made on Draft Master Plan for Municipal Council Kulgam and also apprised the chair about the areas which will be included in the ambit of Development Authority.
The DC instructed the concerned to prepare the Master Plan with extensive field surveys and interactions with all stakeholders and ensure large-scale public consultations.He also instructed the concerned to complete the draft within a stipulated time frame so that it can be put in the public domain for objections, feedback from the general public before submitting the plan for approval to higher authorities.
The meeting was attended by ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, Tehsildar Kulgam, EOs, besides officers from Town Planning organization Kashmir and other officers.
