"JP Eye Hospital," a unit of Dr. Aggarwal’s Eye Hospital, organized a 5 km walkathon at Mohali this morning to encourage eye donation and prevent blindness. Participants from various walks of life and from all age groups in Tricity participated in this event and showed big enthusiasm for the noble cause.

The walkathon started at 6:00 a.m. from J.P. Eye Hospital, 35 Phase 7 Mohali, to the Phase 7 Market parking area. Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar (IPS, IGP, Commissioner, Punjab Police), Mrs. Aashika Jain (IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mohali), along with Dr. Jatinder Singh and his team from the hospital, participated.

Famous personalities from the Punjabi film industry, Mr. Jaswinder Bhalla and Ms. Gurvinder Kaur, not only supported but also came and joined them for an eye donation awareness walk. In the end, guests of honor appealed to everyone for an eye donation.
