Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that about 162 PHCs have been identified in the state, which will be reconstructed and their design will be same. Apart from this, ECG and X-ray facilities will also be provided at the PHC level.Sh. Vij was addressing the people at inauguration of 46 health services by Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal in Yamunanagar today.
Sh. Vij said that “I have ordered my department to make new PHCs. He said that there was a time when a doctor used to sit in a dilapidated PHC/hospital and there was a line of 200-300 patients in front of him, unless we change the environment, we cannot get complete results from them.
He said that “I have given orders that ECG and X-ray machine facilities should be provided upto the PHC level”. He said that the department has prepared a scheme to provide this facility so that better facilities can be provided to the people.
*WHO GMP medicines and US-FDA certified equipments are being purchased - Vij*
Sh. Vij said that before our government, people were treated by giving blue yellow pills, but since our government has come into power, we have decided that whatever medicine we will purchase WHO GMP certified. Similarly, US-FDA certified equipments are being taken for hospitals because unless there are good equipments doctors cannot give good treatment.

He said that there was a time when hospitals did not even have X-ray machines; today we are trying to facilitate X-ray machines, ultrasound, MRI and cath labs operational in all district hospitals. He said that currently cath labs are operational in four districts of the state including Ambala, Faridabad and Gurugram and we have saved thousands of lives so far. He said that due to the vision of the Chief Minister, we want to completely change the system/structure of the health department.
*Take one decision, 400 private hospitals NABH- Vij*
Sh. Vij said that we have changed the empanelment policy that we have decided to empanel only NABH hospitals. He said that with one of our decision, about 400 private hospitals in the state became NABH. Similarly, government hospitals are being certified. Apart from this, all the health facilities are being connected through e-Upchar so that the information of the patients can be made available through online in all the health facilities.

He said that we are trying to completely change the health department at many places including Ambala City, Ambala Cantonment, Yamuna Nagar, Panipat and today 46 more health services are going to be added in the same. He said that today health services are being inaugurated in 17 districts of Haryana by pressing the button from the hands of Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that our government is committed to bring reforms in every field and is continuously doing reformative work. In this series, our government is also doing unprecedented work in the field of health. He said that today a 275 beded hospital with all facilities are being dedicated to the people.
He said that day by day under the leadership of the Chief Minister, we are moving towards reform the system He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for inaugurating health facilities in 17 districts.On this occasion, Education Minister Sh. Kanwarpal Gurjar, MLA Ghanshyam Das Arora and other dignitaries were present.
