To assess the quality of health services, punctuality of staff and patient care, Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, conducted surprise inspection of health facilities in Community Health Centre, Thathri, Sub District Hospital Gandoh and Public Health Centre Changa.

During the visit, the CMO inspected  OPD, Registration counter, Emergency room, X Ray section besides other important sections of the hospitals. The CMO Doda asked the concerned BMOs to call for explanation from the staff found absent during the duty hours. 

He directed BMO to deduct their one day salary for unauthorised absence. He also directed the hospital administration to take necessary measures for improving the sanitation and patient care services in the hospital. The CMO enjoined upon the medical/ paramedical staff to serve the patients with utmost dedication and sincerity. 

Speaking on the occasion, CMO urged upon health functionaries to ensure better healthcare facilities to the patients and come up to the expectations of the patients and enjoined upon the hospital administration to focus on quality assurance, accessible affordable health care so that satisfaction level among the users of Govt health facilities is enhanced and people repose faith in public health. 

He assured all possible support related to better health care services being provided at the hospital.
