National Bank for Agriculture and Rural development (NABARD) organized a 15 days training programme for SHG members in village Gunno Majra of block Majri on Food processing and bakery products.
This programme was organized with the support of agency –Mahila Kalyan Samiti in collaboration with Krishi Vighyan Kendra, Kurali. Technical part of the training including cookery classes were taken by Dr Parul Gupa from KVK.
This programme was organized from 23rd January’23 to 10th February’23. Valediction programme of the training was attended by Sh M.K. Bhardwaj (LDM SAS Nagar), Sh Manish Gupta (DDM NABARD SAS Nagar) and Dr Parul Gupta from KVK.
They reviewed the products made by SHG women in the 15 days training and appreciated the variety and taste of products including cookies, cake, Amla chutney, ragi sweets etc.
On the occasion, LDM informed the trainees that loan is available from banks for trainees who want to start their own enterprise. Also, on timely repayment, trainees can avail loan of higher amount.
DDM Nabard told the members that marketing opportunities shall be made available to trainees thorough participation in various exhibitions and melas which shall lead to more income for the trainees.
President of MKS while motivating the trainees ensured them that all possible help shall be provided by agency in selling their products. Certificate were distributed to the trainees on the occasion.
