To end the boredom and routine work  of classroom environment, Aryans Group of Colleges yesterday organized a modelling competition in the college campus i.e. Village Nepra (Banur), Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh. Many students from B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA & B.Ed each participated in the competition. 

Students walking on ramp were looking like professional models. After the rampwalk round, three rounds related with personality tests were conducted. In the end, suitable titles and gifts were distributed. Parveen Bhatti & Prabjot kaur were adjudged Mr. & Miss Personality. Ramanjeet Singh was adjudged as Mr. handsome & Iram crowned as Ms.Beautiful. Sunil Kumar was adjudged, Best Physique; Jasveen Kaur, Miss Beautiful Hair; Vikash, Mr. Punctual; Veera Jain, Miss Punctual. Syed & Rohini adjudged as Mr. Best Dress & Miss Best Dress.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, who presided over the function, said that the institute would always welcome such gestures of the students and the institute would encourage the students to organize such events more frequently. Dr. Kataria further said that co-curricular activities help in harmonious development of students.

Director General, Aryans Group, Dr.Parveen Kataria congratulated all the winners and said that co-curricular activities provide recreations which are conducive to mental, emotional and moral health. Also present on the occasion were Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman, Aryans Group; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer, Aryans Group; Dr.P B Mahapatra, Director, Aryans College of Engineering; Dr.Manjula Kataria, Principal,  Aryans College of Education & Chandrama Singh, Registrar, Aryans Group.
