A research process will be started in Haryana regarding the increasing cases of cancer and for this Haryana Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said today that cancer is increasing and a committee will be formed soon for cancer research.
He said that this committee will record the history of cancer patients and study/research will be done on it by adopting whatever other methods of research are there.Sh. Vij was answering a question asked by media persons regarding increasing cases of cancer on the occasion of Cancer Day during the Janata Darbar in Ambala today.
He said that "there should be research on cancer as well and we are also trying that our PGI at Rohtak should do research on it".The Health Minister said that “keeping this cancer in mind, it is growing very fast and spreading its wings, we have built a state-of-the-art cancer hospital in Ambala Cantt and people are getting a lot of benefits from it”.
He said that so far around 125 operations have been successfully done in this hospital and patients from neighboring states also come here. Sh. Vij said that from Feb 15, a director will also join his duty here and he is a senior doctor of AIIMS.
Talks will be held with all stakeholders to teach Ayurveda in MBBS course- Vij
In response to a question regarding teaching Ayurveda in the MBBS course, Sh. Vij said, "We have formed a committee to find out its possibilities and modalities and we are talking to all stakeholders and will also take the permission from the central committee, so we have started this process.
Alternative system and medicine have their own importance in our country- Vij
He said that “some people insist that all other methods have failed, it cannot be so, because the place that alternative systems and medicines have in our country, it also has their own importance”.
Sh. Vij said that 'we say that instead of creating quarrels, you should work together and therefore there should be integration of the Pathies'. If someone is cured by allopathic treatment and also if someone is cured by Ayurvedic pills, then what is the problem in that.
He said that ‘surgeons and doctors and experts of allopathics also eat Ayurvedic medicines, the spices that are put in vegetables, these are also Ayurvedic medicines which every man eats'.
Firing case in Ambala Central Jail, will go till the conclusion- Vij
In response to a question regarding the case of firing in Ambala Central Jail, Sh. Vij said that the police are enquiring the matter and all the weapons inside have been sent to FSL to find out which weapon had fired. He said that it will be taken to its conclusion, even if another committee of officers has to be formed for this, but the matter will definitely be concluded.
Vij's taunt on Rahul Gandhi, ‘‘sab kuchh luta kar hosh mein aae to kya kiya’’
Responding to a question about the letter written by Rahul Gandhi to the Prime Minister regarding the safety of Kashmiris, Sh. Vij sarcastically said, " ‘‘sab kuchh luta kar hosh mein aae to kya kiya’’".
He taunted and said, "Hey, you have done everything, when they were being uprooted, what were you doing and why did you allow this situation to arise in Kashmir".
Raising the question, Sh. Vij said, "Who is responsible for this, this terrorism in Kashmir was born under your regime, this terrorism is your child, you only gave birth to it, you only brought it up and then they became so insolent that he uprooted Kashmiri Brahmins from his own soil and threw them out.
He said that 'then your party did nothing, then your government did nothing, today you have gone to Kashmir and you remembered the pain of Kashmiri Pandits'.
Action will be taken if false complaint is found in Janta Darbar- Vij
In response to a question regarding false complaints in the Janata Darbar, Sh. Vij said that some complaints have also been found to be false, so in the next Janata Darbar, we will put up a board that 'Action will be taken if your complaint is found to be false'. He said that in such cases action is taken under section 182 and it will be done if false complaints are found.
Officers' meeting will be called soon to settle cases of Section 498 and Section 376- Vij
In response to a question regarding cases related to section 498, Sh. Vij said that 'I have asked for information about all cases related to section 498 and how many cases are pending because a lot of cases under section 498 are reaching the Janata Darbar.
Because the girls are crying and wailing and no action is being taken, I have sought information about all the cases. He said that after this all the officers will also be called and asked why there is pendency in these cases, why action is not being taken on it.
Sh. Vij said that now I am also going to ask for the information of section 376 because many cases of Section 376 are also coming and these cases are also pending for months and a meeting of officers will be called soon to settle all these.
"The details of the cases referred by me have been sought"- Vij
In response to a question regarding disposal of cases, Sh. Vij said that all the SPs had reported to me that 98 percent complaints have been disposed of, but when I got information from my intelligence system, I came to know that only the SPs marked to DSP.
He said that 'Now a letter has been written again to give the details of how many cases have been finalized and how many cases are pending which have been referred by me'.
Thousands of people come to the Janata Darbar, listen to everyone's problems and solve it – Vij
Sh. Vij said that thousands of people come to his Janata Darbar every Saturday and people come from far off places, like Nuh, Rewari, Sirsa and Hisar. He said that people come from across the state and listen to their problems and resolve the problems.
He said that the complaint received is acknowledged and the complainant is told in SMS that your complaint has been received by us and we have forwarded the complaint to the concerned officer.
Sh. Vij said that his staff also follows that complaint and one DSP from each zone is also present in the Janata Darbar and this DSP also follows all the complaints of his zone. He said that we have made a foolproof system so that people can get justice.
