Mega Block Diwas camps held at 03 blocks of Kulgam

DC presides over public outreach programme at Kulgam; listens to issues of people for early redressal

In order to take first hand appraisal of public issues and grievances at the door steps of people, the District Administration Kulgam today organized mega grievances redressal camps in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H.Pora.

The programme was attended by PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal. Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat remained available at the new conference hall of the mini-secretariat Kulgam.

Officers from District Administration were also present during the Block Diwas who responded to the grievances flagged by people during this grievances redressal camp. 

People from Daderkoot, Avil, D.H.Pora, Okey, Nillow, Srandoo, Sopat, Mirhama and various other  areas participated in the grievances redressal camp and put up various issues of public importance and flagged developmental  requirements  of their areas.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed various issues of immediate nature on the spot. Earlier, ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the grievances and issues raised during previous block diwas.

Meanwhile, Block Diwas functions were also held at Block Devsar and D.H.Pora where ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather and SDM, Bashir ul Hasaan listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
