On the occasion of National Farmers Day (Kisan Diwas) was celebrated today in Sheep Husbandry Complex Jammu. Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Krishan Lal lauded the farmers for their contribution towards the national economy and industry sector. 

He said no country can progress without the sound base of the Agriculture sector. He also highlighted the contribution made by the late Choudhary Charan Singh- the 5th Prime Minister of the country for the upliftment of the farmers and the Agriculture sector as a whole. The officers and officials of the department also participated in the function.
