The second phase for disbursement of land compensation for the land falling under the alignment of Delhi-Katra Expressway was held today at Panchayat Bagla in tehsil Vijaypur. All the details viz. the name of the land owner, quantum of land acquired, amount of compensation assessed were publicly announced.
A team of revenue officers led by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anuradha Gupta supervised the exercise of the verification of documents of the land owners at Panchayat Ghar Bagla. Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur Vinay Sharma, alongwith Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, other field officials besides land owners and locals were also present on the occasion.
It was informed 65 owners of the Bagla Panchayat were identified and verified during the camp and the compensation amount was directly credited into their bank accounts. "Rs 54,23,56,220 were disbursed among the 65 owners as per the nature of land acquired during the land compensation distribution camp" informed the concerned authorities.
