The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi Ud Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers of KPDCL, PMGSY and other departments to review their functioning and implementation status of schemes.

During the meeting, the Executive Engineer KPDCL informed the chair that under District Capex 134 works are completed and 93 are under progress. The DC instructed him to ensure completion of under process works within stipulated time frame. 

He also instructed him to follow the curtailment schedule properly. While reviewing PMGSY, the Executive Engineer shared that 128 schemes were completed so far and there was a target of 66 habitations and the target was completed and all the targeted habitations were connected.

He also added that this year macadamization on 36 Kilometers was completed. AEE JK Sports Council was instructed by the DC to complete finishing work on Indoor Stadium in Qaimoh so that it can be dedicated to youth for sports activities.

All other Executive Engineers were also instructed to mobilize men and machinery to complete work projects within timeline and without compromising the quality of work. The meeting was attended by ACR, Executive Engineers from KPDCL, R&B, PMGSY, Jal Shakti and JKPCC besides CMO, EO and other officers.
