Shehari Jan Abhiyan under My Town My Pride 2.0 programme is in full swing across Poonch Town. As part of this programme, various services of different departments are being provided to the people by Municipal Council Poonch at their doorsteps.
District Development Commissioner, Inderjeet, alongwith President MC, Sunil Sharma inspected the stalls put up at Dak Bungalow Poonch. Executive Officer MC, S. Varinderpal Singh among other district officers accompanied the DDC during the visit.
Meanwhile, a series of activities are being conducted across the Municipal towns of the district as a part of this programme with the focus on extending benefits of different Govt Schemes and programmes to the last beneficiary in the urban areas.
In continuation of these activities, the Municipal Authorities Poonch carried out a sanitation drive/IEC Activities under the overall supervision of EO. During the event, the public was sensitized about the benefits and importance of cleanliness, sanitation, waste segregation and were urged and motivated to keep their surroundings neat and clean. Stress is being laid on saturation of all deliverables of different departments.
