As a part Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, awareness activities on cleanliness of water bodies were today conducted by NCC cadets (SD and SW) of  Government Degree College Kishtwar under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan here at Bhandharkoot area.

A total of 60 cadets, under the supervision of ANOs Lt.(Dr.) Madhu Bala and Lt. Akshay Sharma, participated in the event. The purpose was to spread awareness about the cleanliness of water bodies in the district of Kishtwar. 

Cadets picked up the plastic bottles, polythene bags etc. and disposed of them properly.They also chanted slogans "Swachhata ko Apnana hai Gandagi ko Bhagana hai".This abhiyan has been organised for the third time and has been successfully executed today by the NCC cadets of the GDC Kishtwar.
