MVD organizes Health checkup cum awareness camp at Bus Stand Ramban

Motor Vehicles Department, on Friday, organized a health check-up–cum-awareness camp for Drivers and Conductors at Bus Stand Ramban. A large number of drivers and conductors were provided free blood tests and Eye check up by a team of doctors from District Hospital.

Presidents MC, Ramban, Sunita Sumbria, Councillors, ARTO Samrinder Singh, members of different Transport Unions were also present on this occasion.The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam inaugurated the medical camp held with the help of the Health Department and Municipal Council Ramban. 

Medical experts examined more than 100 drivers and conductors by checking their Blood Pressure, Sugar level, eyesight, and other medical conditions.Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the participants to follow traffic rules and abide by Motor Vehicle Act and Rules. 

He advised them to avoid over speeding, use of mobile phones while driving, wrong overtaking and parking.An interactive session was also organized in which drivers, conductors, and officers of civil and Police administration participated.
