Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora distributed sanction letters worth approximately Rs 2.50 crore for 69 development projects in 43 villages of the Sunam Assembly constituency during a special function held at Urban Crave, Sunam. These projects focus on strengthening basic infrastructure and addressing the day-to-day needs of rural residents.
Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann, is continuously working towards the holistic development of both rural and urban areas. He stated that strengthening rural infrastructure remains one of the government's key priorities and that funds are being released regularly for various development projects to achieve this objective.
He further said that the completion of these approved projects would provide better civic amenities to village residents and significantly improve the overall quality of life in rural areas. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that all works are completed within the stipulated timeframe and according to prescribed quality standards so that people can derive maximum benefit from them.
The Cabinet Minister also stated that the Punjab Government will not allow any shortage of funds for development works and is prioritizing projects based on the needs of the people. He urged village representatives to monitor the execution of development works closely to ensure transparency, quality, and timely completion.
Various government officials, sarpanches, panches, panchayat representatives, party leaders, and a large number of local residents were present on the occasion.
