As part of “Back to Village -4 programme, Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Savak today conducted Gram Sabha and Mahila Sabha in Lower Narayana Panchayat of block Khour as the visiting Officer. A large number of people including women & PRI members participated in the two events.

During the sabhas, the visiting officer interacted with the local public and listened to their problems. Further, the visiting officer distributed 200  Mango fruit plants and Soil Health Cards among the participants. A soil health card is used to assess the current status of soil health with crop wise recommendations.

Later, the officer visited the Govt. Schools, Health centres, Aaganwari centres, Ward no.5, of L.Narayana panchayat. He interacted with the people of the area and listened to the problems being faced by them very calmly. He assessed the situation of the panchayat on the whole at the ground level and asserted that their issues shall be solved on priority.
